CUSTOM INK
At Custom Ink, I worked as an expert Graphic Designer, specializing in turning customers’ ideas into polished, print-ready artwork. I created hundreds of custom designs for apparel, merchandise, and large-scale orders — everything from T-shirts for small businesses and schools to full branding packages for events.
A big part of my role was balancing creativity with precision. I cleaned up low-quality customer uploads, recreated artwork from scratch, and built vector-perfect designs that would print beautifully on any product. I collaborated closely with customers and internal teams, making sure every design matched the client’s vision, followed production specs, and met tight deadlines.
I also contributed to internal creative initiatives, including the Community Creatives Project, where I partnered with local nonprofits to design visual assets that supported their causes.
Overall, my work at Custom Ink helped thousands of groups bring their ideas to life through thoughtful design, technical accuracy, and a customer-focused approach.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
At Custom Ink, my role as a Graphic Designer required strong customer service because it was as much about working with people as it was about design. I partnered directly with customers to take their rough ideas and turn them into polished, print-ready designs, which meant really listening, asking the right questions, and understanding what they were trying to achieve—even when they weren’t sure how to explain it.
A big part of delivering a great experience was guiding customers through the realities of apparel printing. I regularly explained things like color limitations, artwork quality, and what would actually print well, helping them make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed. This kind of proactive communication helped prevent issues, reduced revisions, and built trust throughout the process.
Because of that, success in the role depended on being patient, approachable, and solutions-focused. By combining design expertise with clear, supportive communication, I was able to create a smooth, positive experience while delivering high-quality results that met both customer expectations and production standards.
IN THE COMMUNITY
During my years at Custom Ink, I developed strong project management skills by overseeing a wide range of creative initiatives.
One of the most impactful experiences was leading our Community Creatives program—a company-wide volunteer effort where artists donated their time to support local nonprofits.
In this role, I managed a team of designers from initial kickoff through final delivery, ensuring every project stayed on schedule and aligned with each organization’s mission. I coordinated workflows, provided creative direction and feedback, facilitated communication between artists and community partners, and maintained quality standards across all deliverables.
Guiding these projects from concept to completion not only strengthened my leadership and organizational abilities, but also deepened my commitment to using design to make a positive impact in the community.
